This project consists of modifying existing paths of travel and making pedestrian improvements along Brundage Lane from Myrtle Street to Pine Street and L Street from 17th Street to 22nd Street. The project purpose is to provide ADA accessible walkways in areas that either have existing barrier curbs or access ramps that do not comply with the current ADA standards. The work also consists of demolishing existing curb ramps and constructing sidewalks and new ADA accessible ramps with truncated domes, construction of curb & gutter and cross gutters.
This project is 100% funded through the Transportation Development Act, which are funds provided by the Kern Council of Governments.
The engineer's estimate for this project is $283,000.00
